Memur-Sen to attend a seminar in Kazakhstan on the theme “Social and Labour Relations in Central Asian Countries”

Memur-Sen Vice-President Levent Uslu attended a seminar organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FPRK) on the theme “Social and Labour Relations in Central Asian Countries “on 21 of May in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In order to analyse the social processes of Central Asian Countries, as well as the development of cooperation of friendly countries, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FPRK) held a seminar on the theme “Social and Labour Relations in Central Asian Countries: analysis and prospects “on 21 of May in Astana, Kazakhstan. Memur-Sen Vice-President Levent Uslu Memur-Sen affiliated Trade Union of Correspondence and Communication Public Servants Vice-President Muzaffer Boskurt took part in the discussion of the seminar.
In the seminar, participants analysed and discussed the complex of social and labour issues of Central Asian countries: safety and health, socialization of youth, problems of decent and productive work, issues of gender equality, as well as issues of appropriate payment.
In this regard, Vice President Uslu delivered his speech in the discussion of above-mentioned issues of the theme in the seminar. In his speech, Uslu highlighted the importance of strengthening relations with Central Asian countries. “By establishing a solidarity system in which justice is centralized, the power of labour prioritized, we can provide integration that will spread not only to Central Asia but to all Eurasia” Uslu said. At the same time, Uslu also made a presentation on “Trade Unionism in Turkey and History of Memur-Sen Condeferation on trade unionism”
