History Records US as a Country Applauding Genocide

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, the US House of Representatives not only allowed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a Zionist and racist leader responsible for the genocide of over 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza, to speak, but also applauded him enthusiastically, once again revealing its role in the genocide. The US, known for its history built on genocide, has demonstrated its disregard for humanity, conscience, and international law through its actions. 

The US is the real force behind the genocide in Palestine, providing deadly weapons, supporting Israel in the UN Security Council, enforcing censorship to hide the genocide, and deploying a war fleet in the Eastern Mediterranean. Allowing a murderer, accused of genocide by many countries in the International Criminal Court, to speak and be applauded in the House of Representatives is a shameless display of US support for genocide. Genocide has been a routine policy of imperialist America, which has carried out genocides resulting in the deaths of millions across many countries since its founding through the genocide of Native Americans. These applauses add another dark stain to the US’s dirty record. 

These applauses have also exposed the US’s hypocritical pretense of supporting peace while criticizing Israel in public but supporting its genocide efforts behind the scenes. The threats against those who would interrupt Netanyahu’s speech in the House, reminiscent of totalitarian regimes, show how countries are under Zionist control and highlight the pathological state of world politics. 

Today, Zionist control, particularly in the US, has captured Western politics, and humanity’s ideals and international law are trapped within this grip. As the global community stands against genocide, the applause for Netanyahu by the majority of House members, except for a few like Rashida Tlaib, is a disgrace to humanity and a serious concern for the future, indicating an urgent need for a fair world system. 

As long as the current imperialist politics, led by the US and financed by the Zionist financial system, continues to shape the world, humanity cannot achieve salvation. If humanity aims to establish a fair world, it must build strong solidarity against this great enemy. 

The resistance of Palestinian heroes, the millions who have been filling the squares for eight months to support this resistance, and the heroes like Rashida Tlaib, who remain unwavering in their commitment to the cause of humanity, provide great hope. The terrifying schemes of imperialism have been overturned by this resistance. As the Memur-Sen family, we salute Rashida Tlaib, the millions of anonymous heroes filling the squares, and the honorable Palestinian resisters.
