Memur-Sen Public Employees and Retirees on Vigil in 81 Provinces for a New Offer

In the 8th Term Collective Bargaining process, Memur-Sen began tent vigils across 81 provinces in response to the low wage increase proposals submitted by the Public Employer.
Memur-Sen is holding vigil actions in tents in 81 provinces to protest the inadequate offer presented by the Public Employer. Should a revised proposal meeting the demands of public employees not be presented, our unions will continue the tent demonstrations in shifts until Sunday. On 18 August, nationwide strike are planned, followed by a rally in Ankara and a march to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
