The International Labor Confederation (ILC) 1st Ordinary General Assembly Has Begun

The 1st Ordinary General Assembly of the International Labor Confederation (ILC) began at the EBS Hotel, Ankara, with the participation of over 100 trade unionists from 27 countries.
Under the leadership of Memur-Sen, the International Labour Confederation (ILC), headquartered in Turkey and comprising 33 confederations from 25 countries, representing over 30 million workers, commenced its 1st Ordinary General Assembly at the Ankara EBS Hotel.
Addressing leaders of the international labor movement at the general assembly, Ali Yalçın, the President of Memur-Sen, stated, "In response to the challenges the world faces, we aim to develop solutions centered around humanity and labor, and to expand labor solidarity from local to global through the International Labor Confederation (ILC), whose 1st Ordinary Congress I hope will yield favorable outcomes for workers worldwide. We aspire to amplify hope and intensify our efforts. Step by step, we will reach more workers and escalate the struggle to be their voice."
Mehmet Emin Esen, the Secretary-General of the International Labour Confederation (ILC), who delivered the opening speech of the program, stated, "Today marks the commencement of our 1st Ordinary General Assembly of the International Labour Confederation (ILC), where technical discussions and amendments to the statute will be addressed during the two-day event. I express my gratitude to the representatives of member and observer countries and labor organizations for their contributions and efforts."
Following the opening speeches, delegates expressed their views on the statute amendment works and engaged in consultations during the session.
