Memur-Sen to attend 50th Anniversary of Pakistan Labour Federation (PLF)

Memur-Sen delegation led by its Vice-President Mr. Günay Kaya attended the program organized on the occasion of 50th Anniversary Celebration of Pakistan Labour Federation on 21th-23th September 2018 in Lahore, Pakistan. Speaking at the program Mr. Kaya stated that we as human beigns living in a time in which labour and workers are beings exploited by capitalism and its policies, so we, as labour organizations, are supposed to protect human dignity and provide decent work conditions to workers for all.
On the occasion of 50th anniversary, Pakistan Labour Federation (PLF) organized a program with the participation of trade union leaders. Memur-Sen delegation led by its Vice-President Mr. Günay Kaya attended the program to represent Turkey’s labour sector.
Speaking at the anniversary program, Kaya highlighted the solidarity of labour movements on basis of trade union struggle. “We as human beings living in a time in which labour and workers are being exploited by capitalism and its policies, so we, as labour organizations, are supposed to protect human dignity and provide decent work conditions to workers for all. At this point, we, as unions, federations, regional and international labour organizations, must give a clear message to capitalist and trans-border finance systems that we are against all kind of means of capitalism.” said Kaya.
After the events, Kaya met with the Secretary General of the Pakistan Federation of Labour Mr. Hajı Muhammad Saeed Arian and exchanged ideas on bilateral relations. In the meeting, which included the members of the executive board the organization, union cooperation and trade union struggle were discussed.
