Cooperation Agreement Between Memur-Sen and CMTU Renewed

The cooperation agreement, which was previously agreed between the Memur-Sen Confederation and the Mongolian Trade Union Confederation (CMTU), was re-signed at a meeting held in Istanbul.
Memur-Sen Confederation, which wants to strengthen the struggle for labor and rights in the international arena, continues the cooperation agreements it has concluded for this purpose.
The previously agreed cooperation agreement with the Mongolian Confederation of Trade Unions (CMTU) has been comprehensively renewed. Memur-Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın, Memur-Sen Vice Presidents Mehmet Emin Esen and Mehmet Bayraktutar, CMTU President Erdenebat Sukhbaatar and board members and foreign relations experts from both confederations attended the agreement ceremony held in Istanbul.
Speaking at the meeting and giving information to the delegation about Memur-Sen's work, Memur-Sen President Ali Yalçın stated that the labor world should increase its cooperation against increasing inflation, war, political and economic crises in the world and said: We are the largest labor organization. While fighting for the rights of our members and public servantss in collective agreements and social dialogue mechanisms, we are also trying to expand our fields of activity with the awareness of labor responsibility towards global problems and changes.
Stating that they are also pleased to renew the previous cooperation agreement with the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions CMTU, Yalçın said, “We have a wide cooperation network that extends all over the world. As labor organizations, we should come together more and implement more comprehensive studies on our common concerns and goals. We attach importance to our cooperation with CMTU in this sense. We are pleased to host you in our country," he said.
Erdenebat Sukhbaatar, President of CMTU, expressed their pleasure to be together with Memur-Sen and thanked Memur-Sen for their hospitality and solidarity.
After their speeches, the cooperation protocol was signed by Memur-Sen President Ali Yalçın and CMTU President Erdenebat Sukhbaatar and a souvenir photo was taken.
The cooperation protocol signed between the two confederations covers joint education, culture and other trade union activities.
