Saluting the Victory of the People of Gaza
23.01.25, Thursday
On October 7, 2023, U.S.-backed Zionist Israel launched a genocidal campaign in Gaza, resulting in the mass killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians—primarily women, children, humanitarian workers, healthcare professionals, and journalists—under the watchful eyes of the global community. Innocent children playing in the streets were targeted by snipers, ambulances carrying the injured were struck, and places of worship, schools, and medical vehicles were bombed indiscriminately. By blocking the entry of food and fuel into Gaza, the population was subjected to extreme deprivation—left to suffer hunger, thirst, cold, and lack of essential medicine. Medical aid was systematically denied, and nearly all healthcare facilities were reduced to rubble.
Despite facing relentless bombardment for 471 days, the courageous people of Gaza, whom Israel sought to erase from the map, demonstrated one of the most profound examples of resilience in modern history. Armed with nothing but handmade weapons against billions of dollars’ worth of advanced military technology, they forged an unforgettable legacy. Remarkably, even in the face of a brutal genocide, they treated hostages with dignity, delivering a global lesson in justice and morality.
The fabricated narrative of "Israel as a victim of genocide," meticulously constructed over years through Hollywood propaganda, sponsored think tanks, manipulated politicians, and aggressive lobbying efforts, has been utterly discredited. The steadfast struggle of Gaza’s people, supported by the principled stance of conscientious individuals worldwide, has dismantled this narrative.
The heroic resistance of Gaza’s population against a genocide backed by the United States and numerous other nations has inspired global solidarity. Conscientious individuals across the world have expressed their support through marches, boycotts, and protests, standing in unity against injustice.
The ceasefire is undeniably a victory for the people of Gaza and a testament to the triumph of human dignity.
As Memur-Sen, we proudly salute the heroic people of Gaza as a symbol of perseverance and resilience. We welcome the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement and we remain vigilant, closely monitoring each step of the process.
We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to exposing the atrocities committed in Gaza over the past 471 days and to boycotting complicit entities. We emphasize once again: “A ceasefire must not serve to conceal genocide!” Furthermore, we renew our call for the enforcement of the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants against Netanyahu and other cabinet members implicated in these crimes.
