Working visit of a Memur-Sen delegation to Bahrain

A large delegation of the Memur-Sen confederation led by its president Mr. Ali Yalçın composed in particular of the vice-presidents Mr. Mehmet Emin Esen, Mr. Mehmet Bayraktutar, Mr. Levent Uslu, Mr. Soner Can Tufanoğlu, Mr. Hacı Bayram Tonbul and the vice-president of the trade union of teachers Mr. Ramazan Çakırcı, president of the commission for the woman Mrs. Sıdıka Aydın, and the advisors in international relations Mr. Hüseyin Sultanoğlu and Muhammed Derviş, payed a working visit to the Bahrain Free Trade Union Federation (BFLUF) at the invitation of its President Mr. Yakup Yusuf Muhammed. This meeting marks the desire of the two confederations to deepen dialogue and bilateral cooperation.
The delegation visited the headquarters of the BFLUF where it was welcomed by its president Mr. Yakup Yusuf Muhammed, who took the floor to underline the importance of the meeting. The delegations notably discussed the workshop they plan to organize jointly on the subject of trade unions in the Gulf countries and Turkey.
The labor struggle is universal
In his speech, President Ali Yalçın expressed himself in these terms: “We make a great contribution to the transformation of the trade union struggle into a universal character. As Memur-Sen, we are in contact with 127 of the 192 countries in the world. Even though our beliefs, our cultures, our colors and our perspectives on life are different, there is a sacred bond that of work that unites us. At this stage, we attach as much importance to the trade union struggle, of the workers, in our country as well as in the whole world," he said.
