Friday's deadly heinous terrorist attack targeting a mosque on worshipers in Egypt's Sinai, El-Arish, which left 305 people dead and another 130 injured, is a crime against humanity. We are having difficulties expressing our anger, sadness and pain in front of these massacres that we have witnessed in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey and dozens of countries before.

In terms of Islamic belief, it is clear that “Whosoever kills an innocent human being, it shall be as if he has killed all mankind.” It is a crime to attack holly places in Islamic understanding. While this is a clear understanding of Islamic belief, to make slaughter under the name of jihad is a sign of dark ignorance or deep treachery. Despite this clear reality, unfortunately the terror in Islamic countries cannot be reduced, but it is increasing.

We know that the solution to this problem is in the Islamic world itself; not in the dark interventions of global imperialism, carried out under the name of war on terrorism and aiming at nothing but increasing the number and effectiveness of terrorist organizations. The primary cause of this situation in the Islamic world is the global system of exploitation.

Indeed, the widespread terror in the world has now become an intervention and design apparatus of global forces. Terror has become the most widely used tool of imperialism in order to change the political actors, systems and balances of the target countries and prepare them for intervention.

Today as it was yesterday, imperialists’ wars, which cause great destruction, are still being carried out in the lands of the third countries beyond their own territories. And, unfortunately, these countries are Muslim countries that have cradled the Islamic civilization.

We, hereby, strongly condemn such an evil and cowardly terrorist attack on worshipers in Egypt. Our condolences & prayers are with the victims & their families. May Allah have mercy on the innocent souls who lost their lives and quick recovery to the wounded.
