The 10th European Regional Meeting of the ILO completed

10th European Regional Meeting of the ILO held in Istanbul was completed with the reports' announcement.

The European Regional Meeting of the ILO brings together Government, Employer and Worker representatives of the 51 countries of the region every four years.

10th European Regional Meeting of the ILO, which started on 2 October, was completed with the publication of the report entitled ‘’The Istanbul Initiative for the Centenary: Future for Decent Work for strong and responsible social partnership in Europe and Central Asia’’

The program, as usual, began with consultation meetings of groups of governments, employees and employers.

Later, the general board was passed and speeches were made on the decleration. At the meeting, the Ministers of Labours of the countries, in their assessments, expressed their views on the regional meeting.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Jülide Sarıeroğlu, who made a speech on behalf of the government of Turkey, referred to the changing business conditions.

Recalling that Turkey passed the 15th of July, Minister Sarieroglu said, "We expect support from all European countries in the fight against FETO."

Thus, 10th European Regional Meetings of the ILO, held every four years, were completed in Istanbul with the declaration of the ’The Istanbul Initiative for the Centenary: Future for Decent Work for strong and responsible social partnership in Europe and Central Asia’’

Throughout the program both in the general and other sessions, members of the Board of Directors of the Memur-Sen, Presidents of the its affiliated trade unions , President of the Women's Commission, consultants, lawyers, experts of the foreign relations branch and press employees participated in the name of Memur-Sen.
