Led by Rob Anderson, head of the Social Policies unit at Eurofound, the thematic fields of this seminar focused on dealing with the crisis and possible solutions for improving the quality of life, strengthening quality public services at a time when the global economic crisis is causing dynamic changes in the labour market.
Commenting on the presentations and working groups, Esen, Vice President of the Memur-Sen Confederation, stressed the importance of trade union activity: "Trade unions should be more efficient and better to coordinate their activities, they can be more effective by encouraging the social partners to follow examples of good practices in avoiding and dealing with labour market crises, "he said.
