Memur-Sen Highlights “Common Voice” for Labour

A delegation from Memur-Sen Confederation led by its vice-president M.Emin ESEN visited to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil for a working and exchange visit.
Memur-Sen Confederation firstly visited to Argentina. During their visit, the delegation attended a seminar on "Challenges for the Future of Employment and Trade Unions" organized by Argentina’s Autonomous Workers Trade Union Confederation (CTA-A) in Buenos Aires. Speaking at the seminar, Esen highlighted that "The unionism has a universal language. Labor is a common language, a common way of speaking throughout the world. What brings us together is actually giving the same struggle." The delegation later joined the CTA-A’s congress.
The delegation secondly came together with representatives of Intersyndical Plenary of Workers -National Convention of Workers in Uruguay. The visit based on discussing administrative capacity, trade union rights and strengthening relations among each other.
Lastly, the delegation visited to the General Union of Workers. They discussed the prospects for trade union cooperation between the two countries and the possibilities of strengthening the partnership in areas such as the exchange of experience feedback and the implementation of joint training initiatives.
