Memur-Sen delegation to attend the 14th Congress of Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Vice President of the Memur-Sen Confederation, Mehmet Emin Esen, visited Bosnia-Herzegovina on February 22, 2018, on the occasion of the 14th Congress of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
By the invitation of Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a delegation from the Memur-Sen Confederation, led by its Vice-President Mehmet Emin Esen, participated in the congress organized for the occasion. The congress took place in Sarajevo with the participation of representatives of non-governmental organizations from Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Croatia and many invited guests.
The meeting allowed the parties to present the experiences of their institutions, with Vice-President Esen commenting on the special responsibilities of the unions in the country in the process of implementing workers' rights. “We have to combine our strengths so that we can deal with the problems that employees face” said Esen.The parties also discussed the solidarity of inter-union cooperation and the strengthening of the role of trade unions.
This friendly visit enabled the Memur-Sen delegation to meet and discuss the role and scope of trade union actions with other trade union representatives from Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Croatia so on, as well as the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina through bilateral negotiations.
