Memur-Sen action across Turkey "Down with Zionist Israel! Long live the Palestinian Resistance!
Memur-Sen protested against Israel by simultaneously issuing massive press releases at Anıt Park in Ankara and in squares in other provinces in order to raise its voice against the genocide and isolation initiated by Israel against the Gaza Strip, to say stop to oppression and to support our Palestinian brothers.
On Wednesday 11 October, the main NGOs in our country, under the leadership of Memur-Sen, decided to take joint action and issued a declaration of support for our Palestinian brothers who have been subjected to systematic massacre and isolation as part of Zionist Israel's genocidal plan.
Thousands of lovers of Al-Quds, young and old, women and men, filled the squares of the "No to genocide, support Palestine, curse Zionism" demonstration. They condemned the attacks of the occupation regime and supported the legitimate struggle of millions of Palestinians against the occupation, whose access to the most basic necessities of life has been cut off.
Memur-Sen members filled the squares with Turkish and Palestinian flags, posters and banners and demonstrated their reaction against genocide by chanting slogans against the Zionist regime.
In the press releases, it was pointed out that the Palestinians condemned to struggle against poverty and destitution, brutally murdered, including women and children, have been kept in isolation for 16 years, and called on the international community, which remains silent when it comes to Muslims, to act to put an end to the Zionist regime's attacks.
While recalling that the population of Gaza, where more than two million people live, is deprived of basic needs, the Israeli regime was called upon to put an immediate end to the terrorist acts that have turned the region into a bloodbath.
