International Congress on Human, Labour and Global Competition was held in İstanbul

International Congress on Human, Labour and Global Competition jointly organized by Confederation of Public Servants Trade Union (Memur-Sen) and Public Administration Institute for Turkey and Middle East (TODAİE) was held in İstanbul with participation of 286 trade union representatives from 154 labour movements from 105 countries. Labor and Social Security Minister Jülide Sarıeroğlu, Memur-Sen President Ali Yalçın and TODAİE Director-General Prf.Dr Onur Ender Aslan were also present at the congress.
Trade union representative across the world gathered in İstanbul to talk about the problems that humanity is experiencing, and to look for a solution to the wounded system that has dominated the world for the last three hundred years.
Speaking at the congress, Labor and Social Security Sarıeroğlu highlighted the importance of the meeting and its contribution of labor struggle thorought the world. The thing I know for sure is that when humanity reveals its will of solidarity, it is a fact that they are stronger from the strategies of the playmakers said Sarıeroğlu.Highlighting the importance of solidarity, Yalçın said that “We have gathered here to talk about the problems that humanity is experiencing, and to look for a solution to the wounded system that has dominated the world for the last three hundred years. I believe that the willpower to be formed at this meeting will carry a quality of life together with the spirit of solidarity. Be sure that our statements from this meeting will be the first step for the substantial solutions to our world, which is suffocating because of crises.”After the opening ceremony and speeches, the congress started with panel sessions. The sessions as follows disccued by panellists ;“Social Dialogue for Sustainable Development and the Role of Trade Unions”, “Migration and Labor Exploitation”, “Global Competition and Decent Work: In a Globalized Economy, and in an Even More Globalized World of Work”,” Ending Violence and Harassment at Work”
After the sessions, open debates were conducted by a moderator and speakers discussed about issues on the basis of trade unionism and tried to shed light on problems that the word is experiencing.
Last party of the congress was the signature of bilateral cooperation agreements, handing-over of gifts ceremony. Confederation of Public Servants Trade Union signed bilateral cooperation agreements with 84 labor movements as well as regional organizations. This cooperation agreement will bring solidarity and cooperation between the parties.
International Congress on Human, Labour and Global Competition ended up with family picture which all participants took part in.
