Inter-union Cooperation Meeting in Kuwait

The Vice President of the Memur-Sen Confederation, Mehmet Emin Esen, visited Kuwait from January 14 to 16, 2018, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Kuwait Trade Union Federation (KTUF).
By the invitation of KTUF President Muhammed Jema'n el-Hudayne, a delegation from the Memur-Sen Confederaton, led by its Vice President Mehmet Emin Esen, participated in the celebrations organized for the occasion.
The meeting allowed the parties to present the experiences of their institutions, with Vice-President Esen commenting on the special responsibilities of the unions in this country in the process of implementing workers' rights.
The parties also discussed the development of inter-union cooperation and the strengthening of the role of trade unions in the region.
This friendly visit enabled the Memur-Sen delegation to gather information on the nature and scope of KTUF's trade union actions.
