Certificate Program on “International Trade Unionism and Social Policy” has been completed

Certificate Program on “International Trade Unionism and Social Policy” conducted by the Public Administration Institute for Turkey and Middle East(TODAİE) and Memur-Sen Confederation has been completed.
Speaking at the ceremony of the "International Trade Unionism and Social Policy Program", Ali Yalçın, President of the Memur-Sen, pointed out the scandalous campaigns made about Turkey and said, " rely upon what you see, not what they are shown. Don’t cave in to perception operation. The religion and language of a capitalist boss is not important. We must focus on the area of common struggle.” said Yalçın.
Second Certificate Program on “International Trade Unionism and Social Policy” conducted by the Public Administration Institute for Turkey and Middle East(TODAİE) and Memur-Sen Confederation has been completed. After three week training, attendance certificates were delivered by the President of Memur-Sen Ali Yalçın and the Directed-General of TODAİE. Dr. Onur Ender Aslan.
Labour World and Labour Movements Needs More Action
Stating that the labour world needs more action, Yalçın said, "It is very important for international labour organizations to be impartial and independent."There is a world population approaching 7 billion, and half of this population has to settle for one dollar a day. Capitalist approaches are extremely cruel and labour is always losing its power.
Pointing out the emergence of new fields of work, Yalçın said, "New fields of study and discussion fields are revealing. These are areas that need to be discussed in depth for the labour world. That’s why these kinds of meetings are important in terms of sharing ideas and establishing the necessary advisory system.
As safe as London is, Istanbul is just as safe.
Speaking on the ILO 10th European Regional Meeting in Istanbul, some of the organizations and labour movements did not attend the meeting because of their political decision. However, they know Turkey very well, that as safe as London is, Istanbul is just as safe.Aslan: These Programs are Milestone in the Field of Civil Society
Noting that notion of trade unionism has changed in Turkey, TODAİE Director-General Prof. Dr. Onur Ender Aslan stated that the wage-centered trade unionism began to replace its place with the understanding of visionary unionism.
