Founded in Istanbul, ILC sets out to represent more than 25 million workers. As ILC, which we established to raise hope, we shout out our basic point of view from İstanbul to the whole world. Human and his/her sweat are holy… For human, there is only the response of his/her labour; no definition is sufficient for the human who keeps out labour… Life is labor; therefore, labor is not a cost, it is the subject of production… For a world where peace reigns, not war, an order in which underground and aboveground resources are not exploited and distributed fairly by those living in the lands where they are produced... For a fairer world; Long live human! Long live labour!
Labour organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Lithuania, Macedonia, Maldives, Pakistan, Philippines, Slovenia, Jordan, Yemen, Turkey, Thailand, Palestine, UAE, Sri Lanka, Romania, Portugal, Malaysia and Iran Labor organizations from Italy, Montenegro, Mongolia and Cambodia take part as observers in the confederation.
Within the framework of the principle of cooperation, the Confederation aims to wage a trade union struggle based on rights, equality and justice in the international arena, to prepare a common working ground where the member organizations share their knowledge, experienc, to provide union communication, power and cooperation, to increase the trade union competencies of the member organizations, to use these competencies in the service of humanity.
