Deputy President of Memur-Sen Levent Uslu was in touches in Moro and Philippines.
Deputy President of Memur-Sen Levent Uslu within the scope of abroad visits, visited visited the Cotabato city on the Mindanao island which is located in the south of the Philippines, where the Muslim population is predominated.
During the visit Responsible of IHH Asia-Pasific Ömer Kesmen who welcomed Uslu was also presented. Levent Uslu, who spent time with orphan children in the IHH Moro orphanage, received information about other studies of the IHH.
Afterwards, he met Moro Islamic Movement Leader Al Haj Murad Ebrahim. Levent Uslu and Al Haj Murad Ebrahim held a consultation meeting. Deputy President of Memur-Sen Levent Uslu contacted in Philippines to increase cooperation. A cooperation agreement has also been signed between the Memur-Sen and the Trade Union Congress of Philippines (TUCP).
Levent Uslu who met with the representatives of the Trade Union Congress of Philippines (TUCP) which is the largest labor movement in the Philippines and member of the ITUC discussed about bilateral cooperation. At the meeting held with TUCP, opinions were exchanged about mutual organizational forms, especially about the work of women's branches and trade union activities.
After the meeting to which Secretary General Rodolfo M. Capoquian, Education Secretary Rafael E. Mapalo and President of Women Commission and ITUC Asia-Pacific Women's Commission Florencia P. Cabatingan attended on behalf of TUCP, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Memur-Sen and the Trade Union Congress of Philippines (TUCP).
Deputy President of Memur-Sen Levent Uslu, who signed the protocol on behalf of the Memur-Sen, expressed his pleasure with this cooperation and emphasized that mutual work should be increased. Secretary General of TUCP Rodolfo M. Capoquianise, who signed the protocol on behalf of TUCP, expressed their honour to cooperate with an important confederation like Memur-Sen.
