Memur-Sen Confederation organized an iftar program in cooperation with the Sadaka Taşı Charitable Association for thousands of fasting people in Al Aqsa Mosque Square, in occupied Jerusalem.
Deputy Presidents of the Memur-Sen Confederation, Günay Kaya and Mehmet Bayraktutar and the Sadaka Taşı Association participated to the iftar organization in Jarusalem.
Kaya expressed his respect for this blessed organization, "Together with the brothers in Sadaka Taşı, we prepared this work before the start of Ramadan to extend the bridges of communication and brotherhood and share the wonderful Ramadan atmosphere with our brothers in Jerusalem, as well as the great reward that comes from those fasting on these hot summer days". "We are seeking to deliver a gift from the Memur-Sen's 1 million members to our brothers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque to join hands with them for what they suffer under the Israeli occupation."
Bayraktutar said: "Providing iftar to the fasting people in the Al-Aqsa Mosque helps encourage Palestinian brothers. It provides time for expatriates to perform their worship and relieves the poor and needy of their food requirements in this holy month."
