3rd international videoconference on the Coronavirus pandemic, its impact on workers and the role of unions

Ali Yalçin, president of the Memur-Sen confederation, gathered with the trade union representatives of the 3rd group of the international training on "trade unionism and social policies" by videoconference. The third phase of the videoconference entitled "The Coronavirus pandemic, its impact on workers and the role of unions" took place with the participation of young union representatives from 22 countries.
The third group of the international training on "trade unionism and social policy" organized in partnership with the Institute of Public Administration for Turkey and the Middle East (TODAIE), met online with the president Ali Yalçin, to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the world of work and how to build a better future of work after the pandemic.
In his speech, President stressed the importance of social dialogue: “Social dialogue is essential in the development and implementation of covid-19 measures. Social dialogue is an essential condition for the achievement of decent work and a better future of work” he said.
The meeting which took place in a friendly atmosphere from beginning to end was very enriching in the context of sharing experience.
